To make the slip-cover, fabric must overhang equally on all sides by 6.0 cm. (So the fabric rectangle is longer and wider than the table-top.)
The fabric is sold by area, in square metres, and the supplier asks for the required area to be stated to the nearest 0.01 m\(^2\).
Assume the fabric is cut exactly to the ordered size, and ignore hems and seams.
Describe the measurement accuracy of the tape measure for a single reading, and state an appropriate absolute uncertainty for the measured length of 1.845 m.
